Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis Has Famous Meatsmith, Backyard Bakers And More In Kallang

Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis is a pop-up restaurant in Kallang

Here’s one exciting launch to head to this weekend: Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis, a food park in Kallang housing five homegrown eateries! The limited-time pop-up, run by the same team behind Gourmet Park Resorts World Sentosa in July 2023, takes place from now till 31 December 2024, Wednesdays to Sundays.

You can expect signature dishes from five unique eateries: The Goodburger, Quattro, Meatsmith, Backyard Bakers, and Breakfast by Carnaby—a new British concept that’ll launch in Roberston Quay later this year.

Burger fans can bring their vegetarian friends to The Goodburger for The Classic ($16), the popular food truck’s rendition of the classic American cheeseburger featuring plant-based patties. There’s also a Thai-inspired One Night in Bangkok ($18) burger, as well as The Black Tie ($18), infused with truffle oil.

Else, order Quattro’s range of Neapolitan-style pizzas to share, with flavours including Pepperoni ($28), Garlic Prawn ($30), and Spicy Sausage ($30). If you’re in the mood for more carbs, there are pasta mains such as Cacio e Pepe ($22): Malfadine strands coated in parmesan, pecorino, and black pepper.

Meat lovers will be pleased to know that popular smokehouse restaurant Meatsmith is making an appearance at this pop-up. Tuck into the Meatsmith Beef Brisket ($28), smoked then finished on the grill, or opt for smaller plates such as Pork Belly Burnt Ends ($13).

For all-day brunch, order from Carnaby’s menu; The Full Monty ($32) gets you a full platter of breakfast items, while there’s the classic Buttermilk Pancakes ($14), served with smoked butter and organic maple syrup for the ultimate treat.

End things on a sweet note with the IG-famous Backyard Bakers, known for their Blackout Brownies that are crisp on the outside and molten in the middle. Order a selection of brownies ($12) to satisfy your dessert cravings after a hearty meal.

Gourmet Park Kampong Bugis runs from now till end-December 2024. The outdoor space, which takes over the now-defunct Camp Kilo, is also pet-friendly!
