IG-Famous Chef Lennardy To Open Har Cheong Gai Kiosk In Bishan

Har Har Chicken! has har cheong gai burgers at Junction 8

Fans of har cheong gai, this one’s for you! Har Har Chicken!, a new takeaway kiosk selling prawn paste chicken, is opening at Basement 1 of Junction 8 come 5 July 2024. The concept aims to introduce them as Singapore’s first fast-food kiosk that specialises in har cheong gai.

The kiosk serves har cheong gai in various forms, such as popcorn chicken, burgers, and rice boxes. The prawn paste chicken features a recipe that was created by Restaurant Labyrinth’s owner, LG Han, after many rounds of R&D. FYI, the brand is also founded by three other people: social media personality Lennard Yeong, restauranteur Tay Jianli and investment professional Bevin Desker.

Priced at $7.30, the Har-Burger consists of a piece of thick and juicy prawn paste marinated chicken thigh sandwiched between two fluffy buns, lettuce, and tomatoes. You can choose between spicy Sriracha mayo, or regular mayo as your sauce.

For something more substantial, choose the HAR-ty Double Wing Rice Box ($9.60) or the Saver Rice Box ($6.90). Both contain fragrant chicken rice, house-made achar-slaw, as well as chicken rice chilli. The former comes with two whole chicken wings, while the latter features a fried chicken cutlet.

If you’re looking for something easy to consume, opt for the HAR HAR Pops ($4.80). These bite-sized bits come packed with flavour with each bite!

To commemorate the opening of this kiosk, the brand is rolling out a 1-for-1 promotion from 5 July to 7 July: buy a box of HAR-ty Double Chicken Wing Rice Box and get a HAR-ty Cutlet Box for free.

Though the stall is currently not halal-certified, the team is currently in the process of getting it. They are also looking to expand their menu in the coming days, so do look forward to it.
