Singaporeans love two things: cheap food and bubble tea. However, the prices of bubble tea these days may make us think twice before buying it. Well, what if I told you that you can satisfy your BBT cravings even if you’re on a budget? Just drop by Hello Brew Bar, a drink stall in Clementi that prices their bubble tea as low as $1!  Â
This inconspicuous BBT shop is located under an HDB block, and is a five-minute walk from Clementi MRT Station. Don’t underestimate it though, they have an extensive menu with various drink series including milk teas, fruit teas, a Yakult series, and even local beverages such as bandung and yuan yang.Â
Many of these BBT will cost you under $2, but every month, Hello Brew Bar selects a few drinks to be under its $1 promo. If you visit their shop between 8:30am to 10:30am or between 8:30pm to 9:30pm, they also have 30% off for all their drinks!Â
We ordered the Cheese Black Tea ($1.90) and Strawberry Latte ($1.90), both in size M.
The Cheese Black Tea has a good mix of savoury and sweet flavours. The cheese foam is not too thick and pairs well with the black tea. If you ask me, this is an absolute steal for its price!Â
If you’re into sweeter flavours, we recommend this strawberry latte. It is similar to Meiji’s strawberry fresh milk, except this one comes with strawberry bits at the bottom of the drink.Â
If you’re looking for food around the area, check out our Clementi food guide. Otherwise, take a look at our Good Day Bakery coverage, selling authentic Taiwan bakes!
