This Tingkat Service Costs $5 Per Person, Comes With Two Dishes And One Soup

HomeTingkat Catering has affordable tingkat with free delivery

Whether you’re WFH or back at the office, sometimes you just want a quick and fuss-free meal—especially on a hectic work day. Enter HomeTingkat Catering, a tingkat service in Singapore offering affordable meals from just $5 per person, with free delivery included too!

When you opt for their services, you’re promised healthy meals that are freshly cooked with no MSG, less salt, and less oil. Plus, all the meals are sent to your doorstep without extra fees, so you don’t even need to worry about stepping out to your nearest kopitiam to da bao, or pay extra markups when you order on food delivery platforms.

Look forward to a huge variety of dishes that are homely and comforting. For example, there’s the Double Boiled Black Chicken Herbal Soup, packed with Chinese herbs for a nourishing meal.

Another healthy pick is the Steamed Fish, served with fresh ginger slices on top.

Those who want something heartier can also look forward to zi char-style dishes such as Cereal Oat Prawn AKA mai pian xia. This popular dish features with plump prawns tossed in a crispy cereal oat mix for that perfect sweet-savoury combination.

There’s also the classic Pineapple Sweet & Sour Pork, drenched in a sticky-sweet sauce that’s studded with juicy pineapple cubes.

Ordering online is easy peasy. Here’s how it works: choose your date and fill up your personal information, followed by your order details. For the latter, you’ll get to select your preferred delivery dates, meal plan, meal time, and order frequency. You can also select the number of people in your household to feed (up to five), alongside specific food preferences such as “Non-Spicy”, “No Beef”, and “No Prawn”.

Prices are kept affordable: the entry-level 2 Dishes 1 Soup option gets you 20 meals for two people at just $200. This means you’re only paying $5 per person for each meal! If you need more food, zhng up your meal with the 3 Dishes 1 Soup package instead, at a slightly higher cost.

You’ll get to pick from lunch or dinner delivery on weekdays, the former being 10:30am to 1:30pm and the latter 3:30pm to 7pm. The meals are packed in microwaveable containers that can be easily reheated, but you can also upgrade to tingkat with a $180 deposit.

Do note that the prices listed on HomeTingkat Catering’s package page exclude rice. Should you want a more filling meal, you can opt in for white or brown rice for a small top-up, over at the order page.
