Inside Scoop Opens In Singapore, With Free Ice Cream On 5 March

Free ice cream at Inside Scoop

Now that we can’t cross the causeway freely, it’s most heartening to have access to little things we took for granted in JB. If you’ve missed the cafes at Mount Austin, you’ll be happy to know that Inside Scoop is now open in Singapore, bringing the famous Malaysian ice cream chain to us at North Bridge Road.

In celebration of their official opening, Inside Scoop is offering one free scoop of ice cream to everyone who visits the shop tomorrow, on 5 March. They’ll be stocking their shelves with the brand’s most popular ice cream flavours, and the free scoops giveaway will start from 12:30pm, till they run out. According to the Inside Scoop Facebook page, that’s approximately 800 scoops of ice cream!

The store in Kampong Glam is decked in cheery shades of yellow, with pastel-toned murals, neon-lit quotes, and even a pale yellow garden swing. The IG-worthy interiors make a picture-perfect backdrop for Inside Scoop’s many ice cream flavours, including a new Marbled Black Sesame, and Lucky Pistachio, a concoction of milk and pistachio ice creams, mixed in with crepe biscuits and the namesake nuts.

Prices for the ice cream start from $4.80 a scoop, with additional charges of up to $2 for premium flavours. Outside of the promotion tomorrow, you will also have the option of having your ice cream with the brand’s Signature Buttermilk Waffles ($7), or Charcoal Waffles ($6).

Although it’s a brand from across the causeway, the ice cream that’s sold at the Singapore outlet is crafted from scratch daily, here in their kitchen. Inside Scoop’s ice cream is made with no artificial preservatives, flavourings, and colourings, so you can indulge in these scoops of artisanal bliss without worries.

We expect it’ll be a crowd tomorrow at Inside Scoop, so if you’re not up for the queuing, consider checking out Burnt Cones, or our list of 10 best desserts in Singapore for the year 2020!
