Tekka Place seems to be quite a hotspot for innovative food experiences, with the recent permanent addition of Eatbox 2021 to the scene, having 20 booths and 4 food kiosks. Hyping this place up further is the addition of an instant-noodle theme retail playground, named Slurping Good!.
From 24 September 2021 to 30 January 2022, visitors can delve into this fun-filled experience, featuring 13 interactive stations that span over two levels.Â
To honor the inventor of the world’s first cup-style instant noodles, Slurping Good! is collaborating with Nissin Foods Singapore (NISSIN) for some grand exhibits. An example is “My Dream Cup Noodles” featuring a creative content area with a 1.7-metre tall cup noodle, letting visitors share their dream cup noodle flavour.
Exhibits to look forward to at this interactive playground is the Noodle Swing!, which allows individuals to sit in a mock up of a soupy bowl of noodles that is even bigger than you. This will definitely make an attractive Instagram post, perfect for those looking to zhng-up their plain Instagram feed.Â
They also have an exhibit called Noodle BFF-Ham! with a mega-sized can of ham, advocating that ham is the best pairing for instant noodles. This will take you back to those Hong Kong food adventures, where their aromatic instant noodles are always topped with a slice of crispy ham or luncheon meat.
Those who have already marked their calendars for this unique event can opt for the early bird ticket, available on Lazada from now to 31 August 2021. If you miss the early bird time frame, you can still get your tickets at their website. Â
To entice you further, each visitor will receive many attractive freebies such as a complimentary tote bag, retail and F&B vouchers, and of course, a packet of NISSIN instant noodles.Â
For other new openings, check out Shakey’s Pizza for their signature thin crust pizzas and Chicken n’ Mojos, or Common Man Coffee Roasters for exclusive sourdough pancakes.Â
