In celebration of their fourth-year mark in Singapore’s bustling CBD area, IPPUDO is having a 1-for-1 promotion for all ramen on Monday, 19 July. Come down early to beat the queue, as this promotion is only available for dine-in at the Tanjong Pagar outlet located in Guoco Tower.

This promo is applicable for all ramen, even their recently launched plant-based Akamaru 1.0 ($16.85++) ramen that will only be available until 31 July.

The usual pork bones to create the signature tonkotsu broth are replaced by mushrooms, soy milk, and mushroom oil. Each bowl is garnished with spring onions, black fungus, garlic oil, spicy paste, and even a plant-based soy “chashu”.

IPPUDO, being a global chain, brings unique twists on ramen in the different countries they inhabit. Since we belong to this beautiful green city, try items under the Singapore exclusives, such as the Bonito Tonkotsu ($18++) served in specially blended fish and pork broth, or Kuro Ramen ($18++) featuring a smoky tonkotsu broth.

If you are not overzealous for an adventure, opt for their classics including the Shiromaru Motoaji ($15++) made with their signature tonkotsu broth, or their Akamaru Shinaji ($16++), which features the addition of a uniquely blended miso paste.

Go for their Karaka-men ($17++) if you want a punch of strong flavours and a spicy kick, because this ramen will surely satisfy your cravings. The spice level ranges from original to extra hot, and the pork broth is blended with a plethora of spices, Japanese peppers, and miso sauce. The flavours in this ramen definitely scream umami.

Although the 1-for-1 promotion is valid across all the ramen on their menu, do note that you will be charged for the higher-priced ramen. They do not accept reservations, so hurry down on 19 July to be the first in line for this exclusive promotion!

For more food in the area, check out the new branch of Hvala at Craig Road for matcha-infused desserts, or Champion Bolo Bun for fragrant milk teas and delicious buttery buns.
