KFC To Launch Butterbear Blind Boxes And Collectibles With New Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken

KFC x Butterbear collab has blind boxes and merch

You heard it here first: KFC Singapore is teaming up with Thailand’s iconic Butterbear mascot from 15 October to 25 November 2025! The limited-time collab comes with the new Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken, plus exclusive KFC x Butterbear collectibles: blind box figurines, socks, and a plush crossbody bag.

This is not the first time the fast food chain has jumped on the merch trend. Earlier this year, KFC had a Mofusand collab, which drew a significant amount of online fanfare.

The blind box figurines will be priced at $12.95 each, with the purchase of a Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken Box ($13.25) or Thai-Thai Saucy Bites Box ($11.95). You’ll get one of four designs: KFC Egg Tart Butterbear, KFC Zinger Butterbear, KFC Drumstick Butterbear, and KFC Bucket Butterbear.

Each customer can buy up to two blind boxes with their meal purchase, while stocks last.

Fans can also look out for other merchandise. For example, those who order any Thai-Thai Saucy Box via KFC Delivery can purchase the red Butterbear long socks at $5.95. A green version of the socks will be available only on Grab orders.

That’s not all: On 29 October 2025, a limited run of 3,000 Butterbear Plush Crossbody Bags will be released at selected outlets. Each bag will cost $15.95 with the purchase of any Thai-Thai Saucy Box, capped at one bag per customer.

While the collectibles are the focus of the collaboration, the new Thai-Thai Saucy menu is also making its debut. Inspired by Thai street flavours, the Thai-Thai Saucy Chicken Box ($13.25) features KFC’s signature Hot & Crispy Chicken doused in a tangy and spicy sauce. We found the sauce to be sweet with a tangy, zesty hint, alongside a strong spiciness that really lingered.

You can also enjoy it in the form of the Thai-Thai Saucy Bites Box ($11.95), which stars boneless chicken bites instead. It was smothered in the same spicy sauce, and we found each piece to be bigger than the usual popcorn chicken bites.

Those looking for a dessert, snack, or both can try the Thai Fritters with Condensed Milk, featuring mini you tiao-like fritters that are to be dipped in a gooey, viscous sweet condensed milk sauce. These served as a perfect end to the meal, with the sweet milk sauce cleansing the palate and neutralising the heavy spices.

The new collaboration will be available islandwide, excluding Sentosa and the Singapore Zoo outlets, from 15 October 2025.
