Since the 1960s, Kian Seng Seafood has been operating as a zi char restaurant, scoring good reviews for its reasonable prices and interesting variations of typical zi char fare. In addition, they have a Chinese New Year set menu that runs from now till 5 February 2023 for dine-in or takeaway.

Their CNY Set Meal (from $338) serves from four to 10 people. This menu includes a unique Prawns with Blueberries dish that features deep-fried prawns with a creamy blueberry sauce, topped with fresh blueberries.

There are also popular dishes such as Truffle with Baby Abalone & Broccoli and Hongkong Style Red Grouper, which both star premium ingredients.

Even after the festive period, you can enjoy their highly raved Charcoal Roast Pig ($258). This signature dish, prepared with five-spice powder, is said to have crispy skin and tender meat. Do note that it has to be ordered one day in advance, though you can call them to check on the dish’s availability for the day.

Also on the permanent menu are dishes such as their Fruitful Salad Prawns (from $28), which is doused in a creamy sauce and mixed with fresh fruits. If you prefer something more savoury, they also have different types of crayfish dishes in flavours such as Salted Egg (from $47).

If you order online, they offer self pick-up and islandwide delivery, the latter of which is free when you spend at least $100.
