Popular La Levain Bakery Pops Up At Jewel With 3 Exclusive Items

La Levain opens Jewel pop-up till March 2027

La Levain, the popular bakery in Jalan Besar known for its laminated pastries and sourdough egg tarts, has landed at Jewel Changi Airport, giving bread lovers a last—or first—taste of Singapore before they fly. Fun fact: this is the bakery’s second venture in the area, following sister brand J’aime Bakehouse at Terminal 3.

The pop-up cafe sits on Level 1 of Lobby H, between Bee Cheng Hiang and Aroma Truffle, and offers three items made exclusively for this location: Pandan Sourdough Egg Tart ($3+), Pandan Gula Melaka Madeleine ($3+), and Salted Egg Madeleine ($3+).

Despite being in an airport, prices haven’t been marked up. A box of six Crème Brûlée Sourdough Egg Tarts goes for $16.80+ at Jewel, same as at their Hamilton Road cafe, so you’re paying around $3 apiece. 

The counter also stays open until 10pm daily, late enough for visitors to catch delayed flights or grab a last-minute gift on the way to the departure gate.

Beyond the tarts and madeleines, the counter also carries La Levain’s usual lineup of cookies, including Dark Cocoa 70% with Fleur de Sel (from $14+) and Orange Macadamia Butter (from $14+), along with a seasonal mooncake range starting from $58+.

For something to bring home, there’s also the Petit Luggage Set ($88+), featuring four petite cookie bottles packed into a travel case—a fitting touch given the airport setting.

The pop-up runs until March 2027 and is a takeaway-only concept, so you’ll have to enjoy your pastries on the go, or save them for later, since there’s no seating on-site.
