We’ve been having some real sweltering hot weather of late, so it’s super opportune that McDonald’s has brought back their popular Coconut Cone (from $1.20) soft serve to bring us some respite!
First launched in 2023, this soft serve flavour is said to be milky and light, reminiscent of eating a fresh coconut, without being too sweet. It also reportedly doesn’t taste like artificial flavours or sweeteners, making it a truly decadent treat for our ultra-hot afternoons of late.
Get your McDonald’s coconut soft serve in several iterations: on its own, as a chocolatey Coconut Hot Fudge Sundae (from $2.50)! It’s also available as a Strawberry Sundae at the same price.
Otherwise, you can get it in a McFlurry (from $3.60) with Oreo!
These coconut treats are available at all McDonald’s outlets and Dessert Kiosks—the real feel this morning is already 39ºC under the sun, so let’s not kid ourselves that it will be any cooler this afternoon.
That’s not all: McDonald’s is also rolling out the Ha Cheong Gai Chicken Burger (from $8.90) on 8 August 2024, just in time for National Day, so keep your eyes peeled for that. This crispy chicken first made an appearance on the fast food giant’s menu back in 2018.
In related news, McDonald’s has also just brought back their refreshed Beef and Chicken Satay Burgers, alongside Crisscut Fries and a new Thai Tea Frappe! Try these new items while they’re still around.
