Today is officially the first day of Phase 2 of the post-Circuit Breaker measures, and if Instagram is anything to go by, Singaporeans are going ham when it comes to visiting the newly reopened retail stores. Even fast food restaurants are experiencing an uptick in visitors, thanks to the fact that dining in is finally allowed. However, if you’re heading to McDonald’s, do note that things haven’t quite fully returned to normal. For instance, McDonald’s Dessert Kiosks will remain closed till 22 June 2020, as the restaurant wants to limit the number of staff working in an outlet at any given time.

This means that in order to nom on cold treats such as McFlurry, ice cream cones, and sundaes, you’ll have to join the main McDonald’s queue. Alternatively, you can just order through the self-help kiosks to minimise waiting time.

You can refer to this list for the locations of all the McDonald’s Dessert Kiosks in Singapore.

The next thing to note will be a big deal for young ones. Those hoping to resume late night paktor and study sessions at 24-hour outlets such as the one at East Coast Park will need to wait a lil’ while longer. Those outlets are still not allowed to operate 24/7, and the latest any McDonald’s store can operate till is 12am. As such, it’ll be wise to just stick to your home for shenanigans.

For those who will be heading down to McDonald’s anyway, be sure to download the McDonald’s app to enjoy the wealth of deals. Currently, you can get 1-for-1 crispy chicken and coconut pie till 1 July 2020. The former will only set you back $3.10 for each chicken while the latter will only cost you $0.90 for each pie.
