McDonald’s Collabs With Tokidoki To Launch Collectible Keychains In 3 Designs

McDonald’s collabs with tokidoki to launch exclusive charms

I’m calling it: collectibles are the next big thing for brands in 2025. So far, we’ve seen the Pizza Hut Cheeseburger Melts plushies, viral Milo plushies, and KFC x Mofusand collab this year. Fresh off the press are McDonald’s newest collectible charms, created in collaboration with tokidoki, a popular Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand.

These new and exclusive collectibles are launched in conjunction with the return of the Spicy Chicken McNuggets, which are officially back on the menu on 12 June 2025. The keychains are available in three iconic McDonaldland designs: Hamburglar, Grimace, and Birdie.

The cutest design is, arguably, the Hamburglar. Inspired by tokidoki’s Bulleto character, the Hamburglar is said to be the most mischievous resident of McDonaldland.

The purple Grimace takes inspiration from Spike, a character from tokidoki that’s part of the Cactus Bunnies series.

Lastly, we have the Birdie, inspired by Crissy from the Donutella range. Fun fact: Birdie nods to Birdie the Early Bird, who debuted in McDonaldland commercials back in the 1980s!

In addition to the three new collectibles, the Smoky Nacho Cheese Sauce is also making a comeback for a limited time only.

You can buy the McDonald’s x tokidoki charms for $7.90 each when you buy any six- or nine-piece Chicken McNuggets meal or the a la carte 20-piece Chicken McNuggets. Alternatively, MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can redeem the exclusive Collector’s Box, which features all three charms, for 2,500 points via the McDonald’s App.

While you’re at McDonald’s, try the Roasted Sesame & Seaweed McShaker Fries (from $4.15), another returning favourite. There’s also the new Smoky Chilli Mayo McSpicy (from $9.20), which stars a creamy, smoky mayo.

All items are available at all eateries, Drive-Thrus, McDelivery, GrabFood, foodpanda, and Deliveroo.

In other fast food content, Burger King has also launched cute plushie keychains for you to collect!
