McDonald’s McGriddles are back from 7 August

When it comes to seasonal McDonald’s specials, the McGriddles are indisputably S-tier. It’s the one breakfast sandwich everyone gets hyped overseeing on the menu, even though they have been absent for a couple of months, as noticed by a few of our colleagues. Good news for McGriddles fans: McDonald’s is bringing it back from 7 August 2025! As usualy, it’ll be sold only during breakfast hours from 4am to 11am each day.

This sandwich is available in four flavours: Sausage McGriddles, Sausage McGriddles with Egg, Chicken McGriddles with Egg, and McGriddles Stack. We’ll update this article as soon as we find out their latest prices.

For those who haven’t had the chance to try McGriddles, this is your chance to get acquainted with its syrup-soaked hotcake buns and the savoury combination of cheese and sausage within. Hitting the spot between sweet and savoury, there’s a reason why fans clamour to get their hands on these every time it is released.

Fans won’t want to miss the Griddlecore A.M. Fest, an invite-only event on 20 September, 10am to 1pm, centred around everyone’s favourite McDonald’s breakfast dish and good tunes. Alongside merch, photobooths and more are live sets by local artists Estelle Fly, DJ Taz Angullia, and DJ Nicolette Yip.

There are two ways to get invited. The first way is to purchase The Griddlecore Bundle ($60), available for purchase at McDonald’s Cineleisure outlet on 14 August, 7am to 11am. Each bundle comes with eight Sausage / Chicken McGriddles with Egg Meal vouchers, six McCafé Coffee ala-carte vouchers, and two Griddlecore A.M. Fest tickets.

The second way is to buy as many McGriddles meals from 18 August. If you’re among the top 150 buyers on 8 September, you’ll receive one Griddlecore A.M Fest invite! You can track your progress on the public leaderboard on the McDonald’s app.

In other McDonald’s news, the fast food giant has rolled out new items: Spicy Tomato Chicken McWrap and Lemon Creme Pie! You can also find these on the menu for a limited time, from 7 August.
