Cute Miffy-Themed Hotpot To Launch In Bugis For Limited Time

Wong Fu Fu will have Miffy mini hotpot sets from 15 October 2024

Fans of Miffy, listen up: Taiwanese eatery Wong Fu Fu is partnering with Miffy to launch all-new Miffy hotpot sets! These will be available from 15 October 2024 for a limited time.

The cute hotpot sets are designed by Little Miss Bento, an IG-famous bento artist in Singapore. You can also expect to find the adorable bunny-shaped character dotted all over the restaurant’s interior and on the new menu!

For the uninitiated, Wong Fu Fu is a halal Taiwanese restaurant in Bugis, known for their hotplate dishes and free-flow milk tea. They even rolled out an XXL milk tea in April that weighs more than 5kg!

On to the hotpot, you can pick from six soup bases: Kung Fu Herbal, Szechuan Mala, Tangy Tom Yum, Oishii Dashi, Shiok! Prawn, and Daebak Kimchi. Fun fact, since the new menu reflects the concept of Miffy Around The World, the various soup bases are inspired by different cuisines from all around the world.

Next, pick from the various sets, which include your choice of protein and other must-have ingredients such as cabbage, enoki mushrooms, silken tofu, fishballs, and more.

Choose from Sliced Chicken Breast ($24.90), Mixed Seafood ($26.90), Sliced Beef ($26.90), or Beef and Chicken Breast ($27.90). Beef is a must-have in hotpot so we opted for the Sliced Beef!

What’s even cuter is that these sets come in all things Miffy such as the collagen broth in the shape of Miffy!

Plop it into your hotpot and watch the little jelly bunny melt away in your soup and thicken into a rich, robust collagen broth.

A hotpot meal wouldn’t be complete without your carbs. Here, you have extra-cute options to zhng up your meal with such as the Taiwan Pearl Rice ($2.90) and Taiwan Egg Rice ($3.90) which are also shaped like little Miffy’s head!

If that isn’t enough to satiate your fill, go for the various snacks in a box adorned with an ultra-cute Miffy design! Go for the likes of Truffle Fries with Truffle Mayo Dip ($14.90), Tater Tots with Mochi Balls ($13.90), and Taiwan Salt & Pepper Chicken ($14.90), among other delectable options. Plus, you can bring the box home after you’re done!

End your meal with a trip to their Free-Flow Bubble Milk Tea and Drinks bar which you can add for only $3.90.
