First Look At Mom’s Touch Singapore: Famous Korean Fried Chicken Chain Reopens In CBD

Mom’s Touch returns to Singapore with Korean fried chicken

Mom’s Touch, arguably the largest fast food chain in South Korea, is making its grand return to Singapore! Having initially closed all outlets in 2022, the brand promises to be “crispier, juicier, fresher and better” with this new outlet just four minutes away from Telok Ayer MRT Station.

We went down on the day of its grand opening to see what the hype was about and whether this truly counts as a redemption arc.

For the uninitiated, Mom’s Touch is best known for its Korean fried chicken and massive burgers, with over 1,400 locations in South Korea alone. This new Singapore iteration features fried chicken prepared with 100% chicken thigh, and a cook-to-order system that prioritises freshness.

Step inside Mom’s Touch, and the space is decked out in the brand’s signature yellow, with shared tables both indoors and outdoors. LE SSERAFIM tracks played in the background while we waited for our food, giving the space a bit of K-pop flair.

There’s even a photobooth, free to use with a minimum spend of $10 on a single receipt, though it’s limited to the first 100 redemptions a day.

There are three Singapore-exclusive burgers to look forward to, including the SuperThigh Chicken Burger (Singapore Edition) ($9.95). Anchored by Mom’s Touch’s signature “God-tier” crispy, juicy whole chicken thigh patty, it’s a hefty burger available for a limited time only.

This one took the top spot for us. The secret sauce was the real winner, tying everything together and elevating it well above your average chicken burger. The staff wasn’t giving anything away, but our best guess is a black pepper base with a faint nuttiness coming through.

For beef fans, Mom’s Touch also has the Singapore-exclusive Angus Beef Burger (from $12.95). It features premium Australian Angus beef, chosen for its marbling and tenderness, paired with a fried egg, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, pickles, white garlic sauce, and steak sauce.

We enjoyed how the fried egg and crispy onions gave the burger richness and crunch, paired with a creamy, mildly sweet garlic-infused mayo that cut through the beefy flavours.

If you want something lighter on the palate, the Grilled Beef Burger (from $7.95) is the way to go. It tasted like an atas McDonald’s cheeseburger, featuring a tender grilled beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a dill pickle sauce that brought a touch of tang.

Another burger worth getting is the White Garlic Chicken Burger ($7.95). This sees a humongous crispy chicken patty spilling out of the bun, layered with chicken ham, melted cheddar, onions, pickles, and white garlic sauce. The cured ham’s salty flavours took centre stage here, with the chicken patty mainly adding crunch and texture. A hint of sweetness from the white garlic sauce and a bit of bite from the onions helped round things off.

Pump up your protein with the Boneless Fried Chicken Thigh, available in two flavours: Original ($9.95) and Cheesy Sichuan ($12.95), with five chunky, generous pieces per order. The Original came with a side of honey mustard and featured a light batter with a soft crunch. This paired perfectly with the honey mustard dip on the side, which had a light, almost wasabi-like kick.

The Cheesy Sichuan stole the show, though. It boasted a spice that lingered and built up the more we ate, later tempered by the creamy sauce that tasted similar to a nacho cheese dip. The skin was slightly soggy from being drenched in sauce, but the meat underneath stayed tender throughout our meal.

Mom’s Touch also offers a solid spread of sides, including Tater Tots ($2.95), Cajun Fries (from $2.95), Cajun Cheese Fries ($4.95), Onion Rings (from $3.95), Mozzarella Cheese Sticks ($2.95), and bite-sized Churros ($4.95).

A wide selection of beverages is available to complement every meal, including Iced Americano (from $2.95) and iced teas. We highly recommend the Banana Milk Coffee ($4.95), a limited-time special that went mega-viral in South Korea. Think melted banana popsicle meets coffee—slightly artificial-tasting, but in a nostalgic way. The custard-like sweetness took the edge off the coffee’s bitterness, leaving something smooth and creamy that drinks more like dessert than a latte.

K-pop fans can also get their hands on LE SSERAFIM-exclusive collectibles. From 14 August to 19 August 2026, every set meal upgrade comes with a Mom’s Touch x LE SSERAFIM selfie card, with 100 sets given out daily, while stocks last.

Even if you’re not a LE SSERAFIM fan and are just here for the food, there’s good news too: as part of the brand’s opening promo, you can upgrade to a Value Meal for just $1 until 31 August 2026.

In other exciting food news, POP BAKERY has opened at RWS Sentosa! If you’re looking for more Korean eats, a Jeju pork tonkatsu restaurant recently opened at Shenton Way, and you can learn more about it in our Katsu by Kyu coverage.
