We’ve got sad news for fans of Monster Planet. The popular Japanese curry chain has announced that it’s closing down its Orchard outlet at The Centrepoint on 26 April 2026, leaving their JEM outlet as its last remaining restaurant. But it’s not all bad news. As part of their final send-off, they’re bringing back their all-time favourite DIY Dessert Bar for a limited time to thank fans for the years of support.

Available exclusively at The Centrepoint, the DIY Dessert Bar can be enjoyed as an add-on to any main ordered on their menu, priced at just $5.90++ per adult and $3.50++ per child below the age of seven.

If you feel like going straight for the dessert, you can also get the a la carte option, priced at $15.90++ per adult and $9.90++ per child.

The dessert bar is limited to 90 minutes per diner, so there’s plenty of time to go for seconds or thirds!

Start at the waffle station, where you get to pile your plate high with freshly made waffles and waffle pops.

Thereafter, grab a scoop or two of ice cream, and customise your dessert with a wide selection of colourful toppings, including cereals, granola, marshmallows, fruit, sauces and more.

We recommend pairing their Vanilla Ice Cream with the crunchy Chocolate Cereal and bittersweet Caramel Sauce.

Fans of matcha shouldn’t miss out on their earthy-sweet Matcha Sauce.

They’ve also got a ton of fresh fruit options, including grapes, strawberries, dragon fruit, melon and many more.

Do note that they charge a wastage fee of $5 per 50g, so be mindful when filling your plate.

Their DIY Dessert Bar will only be available till 26 April 2026, so head down soon before it’s too late!
