Popular Tart Cafe Tarte By Cheryl Koh Will Close On 26 April

Tarte by Cheryl Koh is closing after 11 years of business

We’re barely into the second quarter of 2026, and several popular F&B brands have already shuttered. The latest to join the list is Tarte by Cheryl Koh, a popular tart cafe by an award-winning pastry chef. The homegrown brand, which has outlets at Shaw Centre and Raffles City, will be closing both locations on 26 April 2026.

For those unfamiliar, Tarte by Cheryl Koh has been around for 11 years. Over the years, it has built a loyal following for its French-style fruit tarts, with many customers returning time and time again.

We first covered the brand in 2018, and fell in love with their Christmas tarts!

Their Pecan Tart (from $12.50++) is a must-try, starring toasted pecans with caramel on Tarte’s signature pate sucree base.

Their Mixed Fruit Tart (from $14.50++) is another best-seller, combining fresh seasonal fruits and a light vanilla cream.

Otherwise, you won’t go wrong with the Dark Chocolate Tart (from $11.50++), featuring a simple yet decadent filling of 66% dark chocolate ganache.

Their tarts come in three sizes: 8cm, 16cm, and 24cm. The smallest tart is good for one person; the medium size feeds four to six, and the largest tart is suitable for a party of eight to 10.

Besides dessert tarts, the pastry shop also offers a small range of cakes, including the Pistachio Cake (from $13.50++), where pistachio mousse is layered with pistachio feuilletine. The Chocolate Mousse Cake (from $12.50++) is another popular pick comprising chocolate sponge, dark chocolate mousse, crunchy almond feuilletine, and sea salt caramel.

We recommend pre-ordering your tarts before dropping by either store to avoid disappointment.
