Monster Planet To Open At Tampines 1 With New Dessert Crepes

Monster Planet launches at Tampines 1 with new crepe menu

Here’s a friendly PSA to Easties: Monster Planet is opening a new outlet at Tampines 1 on 20 April 2026. Alongside its usual lineup of halal-certified Japanese curry, this branch will introduce a new crepe-focused concept, offering both savoury mains and desserts in one space.

This launch comes shortly after news of the brand’s Centrepoint outlet closure, announced in March 2026. For now, you can still check out Monster Planet’s DIY dessert bar at the outlet before it officially closes on 26 April 2026.

Back to the new Tampines launch. At this upcoming outlet, fans can look forward to more than just Japanese curry rice, with a 56-seater dine-in space that doubles as a casual cafe serving drinks such as coffee and matcha.

A key addition here is the Monster Crepes Lab, where crepes are made fresh upon order. These come in a range of flavours, with separate options for dine-in and takeaway. Diners can expect classic combinations such as chocolate and banana, alongside more flavour-forward picks like matcha mochi with red bean.

Flavours include the Oreo Crunch Crepe ($10.90++), where soft crepe is loaded with Oreo cream, Oreo biscuit, and Oreo crumble, then crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Green tea fans can try the Matcha Mochi Red Bean Crepe ($12.90++), filled with matcha cream, mochi, and red bean, then topped with sweet matcha drizzle and vanilla ice cream.

Fruit-based crepes are also part of the lineup, including a delicious-sounding Apple Cinnamon Crepe ($11.90++) and Strawberry Sundae Crepe ($12.90++): loaded with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and crushed pistachio.

To celebrate the opening, the Tampines 1 outlet will run a 1-for-1 promotion on its Chicken Katsu Curry from 27 April to 30 April 2026. Usually priced at $15.90++, the dish features a breaded chicken cutlet paired with Japanese rice and the brand’s signature curry sauce.
