The French bistro and greengrocer, SO France, will be offering a handful of Mother’s Day specials from 11 May to 12 May. So if your mom’s a fan of French food, it’s definitely time to book a reservation. These special dishes include Oysters Fines de Claire Marennes Olérons (from $18++ for six), a type of oyster renowned for its slightly earthy flavour, the great-for-sharing Whole Seabass ($85++), served with roasted vegetables and white wine sauce, as well as So France Coffee and Mini Gourmandises ($18++ per person), where diners get their choice of coffee, alongside mini French desserts. Aside from their dine-in selection, they’ve also got a variety of Mother’s Day food hampers from $68, which make for excellent gifts!

If mom loves her jewels, but you can’t afford new bling for her just yet, treat her to the next best thing with SKAI’s Swarovski-themed high tea. Priced at $68++ per person, this luxurious high tea experience will be available from 1 May to 31 May, from 3pm to 5pm daily. The menu takes inspiration from Swarovski’s latest collection, so expect exquisite sweet and savoury treats that nod to the atelier’s new range of crystal jewels. Each high tea set comes with 12 items, a mocktail and your choice of TWG tea or Gourmet Coffee Selections.

Estate, Hilton Singapore Orchard’s all-day buffet restaurant, is offering an exclusive and lavish Mother’s Day Sunday Champagne Brunch on 12 May, between 12pm to 3pm. It costs $188++ per adult, and for the price, diners get to dig into an extravagant range of offerings, alongside free-flow chilled drinks and juices. There will be unlimited servings of Maine lobster, foie gras, Wagyu beef, and a whopping 32 varieties of European cheese. If Mom loves Asian food, then she’ll be delighted by the spicy chilli crab, hearty Signature Black Truffle Roasted Duck, and the like. A champagne brunch isn’t complete without the bubbly and booze, so top up an additional $50++ per person for unlimited Laurent Perrier, house wines, and cocktails.

From 11 May to 12 May, halal-certified buffet restaurant, Carousel, is bringing a special Mother’s Day menu to the table. All-you-can-eat seafood, a hotpot station, and unlimited local delights such as chilli crab are just the tip of the iceberg here. Carousel is also featuring an “Old Times Mum’s Cooking” station, where moms can feast on elevated home-style dishes such as Stir-fried Yam Abacus Seeds with Seafood and Vegetables and Traditional Braised Oxtail Assam Pedas and more. Fat Cow is an acclaimed Japanese restaurant that specialises in Japanese beef. To celebrate Mother’s Day, they’re offering a limited-edition Set Lunch Menu, priced at $98++ per person, from 7 May to 13 May. Named A Taste of Love, For Mum, the menu comprises a selection of small bites, from five-hour sous vide Japanese Wagyu salad, Wagyu beef simmered in a sake and kelp broth, and daifuku mochi served with a nutty goma ice cream.

Yellow Pot is known for offering sustainable Chinese dishes built around light flavours and natural ingredients. If mom is a bit of a health food junkie, then Yellow Pot makes for a good restaurant to take her to on Mother’s Day. They have an exclusive four-course menu, available from 10 May to 12 May, priced at $140++ per person. The meal starts with a Yuzu Prawn, Seaweed Mayonnaise and Lion’s Mane Mushroom starter, followed by a comforting Double Boiled Abalone and Sea Cucumber Soup. Then, diners can choose between the melt-in-your-mouth Truffle Beef Cheek Mee Sua, or the floral, fresh Osmanthus Chilean Sea Bass. Finally, the meal ends with a super nourishing Bird Nest, Seaweed and Green Bean soup.
