1. The Astor Grill, St. Regis Singapore

Steep yourself in decadence with The Astor Grill’sAfternoon Tea Ritual. The plush lounge offers seasonal afternoon tea sets, with their current offering priced at $65++ per person. Diners can expect a tiered tray lined with a medley of sweets and savouries, as well as unlimited servings of freshly brewed coffee and tea. There’s also the option to give yourself a bubbly upgrade, by ordering a glass of prosecco with a top-up of $30++

Look forward to savoury treats including Laksa Prawn Salad with Mini Brioche and Lamb Satay Roll with Peanut Sauce. On the sweet front, there are the quintessential St. Regis Scone and Gula Melaka Scone, served with jam and clotted cream, alongside the restaurant’s signature pralines. 2. The Grand Lobby, Raffles Hotel

Afternoon tea is a storied tradition in Raffles Hotel, one that continues to this very day at The Grand Lobby. The stunning lobby is framed with plush couches where one can enjoy these tiered sets, priced at $98++ a person. Buttery, house-baked raisin scones served with clotted cream and rose petal jam share space with a medley of finger sandwiches sans crust, and a selection of sweet treats. All the petite desserts are made by the hotel’s executive pastry chef as well. To complete the set, diners get a choice between loose-leaf tea or the hotel’s very own custom-blended coffee.

The Tea Lounge at Conrad Singapore Orchard serves up teatime set amidst stately furniture and verdant tropical greenery. Go for their Weekday Afternoon Tea or Weekend High Tea, served from Mondays to Fridays, 3pm to 5pm, as well as weekends, 12pm to 2:15 pm and 3pm to 5:15pm respectively.

Jio your food kaki to pinkies up at Paradox Singapore Merchant Court’s Blooms and Bubbles Afternoon Tea. Held at Crossroads Bar from 3pm to 6pm daily, the three-tier experience is priced at $118 for two people, and includes a bottle of Prosecco—an excellent deal in our books! It comes with a good mix of sweet and savoury bites, all of which are floral-themed. 5. Princess Terrace

Afternoon tea usually comes with a high price tag, so we were pleasantly surprised after finding out that Princess Terrace has a value-for-money Nonya High Tea at just $14++ per person, with a minimum of two diners required. The hidden gem Peranakan restaurant is located on the ground floor of Copthorne King’s Hotel, a convenient five-minute walk from Havelock MRT Station

Available every day, from 3pm to 5pm, the high tea comes with handmade Nyonya kueh, assorted sandwiches, mini egg tarts, popiah, and nasi lemak, along with two hot desserts: Homemade Beancurd with Gula Melaka and a surprise Dessert of the Day. To round off the experience, cleanse your palate with some kombucha and pinkies up with a selection of coffee or tea—these drinks are included in the set, too! 

Here’s another pro tip: for a limited time, visit in a group of four and pay for three people only. This means the high tea costs just $10.50++ per person—an absolute steal in this economy.

6. Sichuan Dou Hua Restaurant

Discover the Imperial High Tea Set at Sichuan Dou Hua Restaurant‘s Tian Fu Tea Room, perched on the 60th floor of UOB Plaza. The set is well-priced at $48++ per person, and comes with one tea or coffee. 

While the menu might change depending on the season, you can expect to sample around nine items. Previously, they’ve served items such as Steamed Siew Mai with Century Egg and Deep-Fried Taro Puff with Fresh Prawn and Cheese. Possible sweet items also include Homemade Fine Beancurd with Bird’s Nest and Steamed Sponge Cake.

8. Anti:dote, Fairmont Singapore

Anti:dote is known best for being a cocktail bar, but the lounge also offers seasonal afternoon teas that start at $58++. Typically, a set comes with sandwiches, a medley of sweet entremets, and scones served with lemon butter curd, Devonshire clotted cream, and strawberry marmalade, as well as your choice of tea from their lengthy selection. Many of the teas are from TWG, and range from light, floral brews, to punchier, dark teas. 

From now till 30 September 2024, enjoy an Alice in Wonderland-inspired afternoon tea set at $68++ per person. This comes with your choice of two non-alcoholic beverages.

Dubbed the Nikkei-Inspired Afternoon Tea Experience, the set is priced from $68++ with a minimum of two diners. You can also top up $20++ for a glass of champagne to make things more special. The Japanese-themed high tea comes with a series of bite-sized savoury treats, including Maguro Chu-Toro with Orange-Ponzu Glaze and Wasabi, and Nikkei-style Salmon with Crispy Quinoa, Kyuri, and Yuzu Sauce.

10. TWG Tea

TWG Tea has a variety of tea time set menus, ranging from a simple tea and scones duo priced from $20++, to a full-on tiered tea set known as the Parisian ($92++ for two diners). For the latter, diners get an assortment of finger sandwiches with fillings such as crab meat and Boston lobster, served along with a hot croque monsieur with either truffle or salmon. Next, take your pick of muffins or scones, and two patisseries from their roving trolley to complete the deal.

Patisserie Woo‘s latest ION Orchard cafe offers a high tea set at $58+ per person, so you can pinkies up with your kaki after shopping in town. Each set comes with a three-tiered stack of sweet and savoury bites, including their house-made scones with clotted cream and a truffle egg mayo sandwich, to name a few.

On the sweets front, enjoy mini desserts such as the Chocolate Salted Caramel Choux, where light choux pastry is filled with decadent chocolate cream and salted caramel. The cafe also serves gelato from $6++, should you wish to indulge in more sweet treats.

15. Teahouse 1973


Transport yourself to Teahouse 1973, a quaint, cosy Malaysian-themed cafe that also serves up afternoon tea sets for two at just $45 nett. The set comprises full-sized slices of cakes baked fresh and in-house daily, a couple of scones, and savoury sandwiches to round off the meal, as well as a pot of fruit tea.

16. The Marmalade Pantry


OG cafe The Marmalade Pantry offers afternoon tea across its numerous outlets, but we definitely award bonus points to their Downtown Gallery establishment for vibes. The serene, blue-toned space is dotted with plush lounge seats and verdant, tropical botanicals. Swing by between 3pm to 6pm and enjoy their 25th Year Anniversary Afternoon Tea priced at $78++ for two. Do note that this set is available from now till 7 January 2025.

For the price, you get a two-tiered stand packed with a variety of savouries and sweets, from Pandan Pulut Hitam Petite Cupcake and Milo Mousse Cake to Truffle Egg Mayo Sandwiches. 17. Angelina, Marina Bay Sands

Parisian cafe Angelina has a storied history dating back to 1903. They currently offer a Royal Tea set, which diners can enjoy at $48++ per person or $86++ for two. Either way, one gets a selection of petite French patisseries, such as macarons and a mini version of their famed Mont Blanc. For savouries, there are four items you can dig into, ranging from duck rillettes served atop a crusty baguette and an Alaskan crab cake roll.

Choose between tea or coffee, but we highly recommend topping up $6++ for their Signature Hot Chocolate. Also known as chocolat chaud in France, the drink is rich, molten chocolate thinned ever so slightly with full-cream milk. Please note that this set is not available during festive periods.

Mention JUMBO Seafood and chilli crab is the first thing that comes to mind, but they also serve up a wallet-friendly afternoon tea that’s worth the visit. Exclusively available at ION Orchard, the set is priced at $49++ per person for JUMBO Rewards members or $59++ for non-members.

The Great Mischief has rolled out their new Catalan-inspired afternoon tea set, well-priced at $38.90++ per person. Available on weekdays at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm, the three-tiered set comes with a mix of sweet and savoury bites, scones, and your choice of coffee, tea, or mocktail.

Tuck into savoury bites such as Croquetas and Tortilla With Garlic Aioli, then follow up with sweets including Spanish Almond Cake and Banoffee Tart. If you’re still feeling peckish, top up $5++ to try their Paella Valenciana, featuring short-grain rice served with well-seasoned chicken chunks.

If you’re looking for a classic, European high tea experience, look no further than Tablescape Restaurant’s afternoon tea menu. For $88++ per set, enjoy savouries such as Tea Smoked Salmon Sandwich and Filo Pastry with Crabmeat Salad and Avruga Caviar.

On the sweets tier, expect to find Strawberry Rose Charlotte, Coconut Matcha Cake, and Macarons, among other treats. Have these alongside their selection of scones, which are served with housemade jam, butter, and clotted cream.

Atrium Lounge’s Local-Inspired Afternoon Tea comprises many local dishes and ingredients reimagined into light bites. Highlights from the savoury front include Singapore Chilli Crab Meat in Egg Custard with Mini Bun and Hai Tien Lo’s Salted Egg Yolk Yam Puff, while those with a sweet tooth can also look forward to their Coconut Bandung with Chendol and Mango Pomelo Sablé.

Priced at $68++ per person on weekdays and $78++ on weekends, diners can also choose to top up an additional $20++ for Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne.

Originating from Manhattan, New York, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse has an afternoon tea menu that puts an American spin on the traditionally British pastime. As its name suggests, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse specialises in beef steak, serving only imported USDA beef dry-aged onsite.

For $88++ per person, sample their signature beef in high tea menu items such as the Aged Beef Crostini, a dish comprising thick-cut beef stacked atop a crispy baguette slice, as well as the Beef & Mustard Toast. With an ever-changing menu that often comprises themed collabs with other brands, high tea at Sofitel Singapore City Centre’s 1864 is anything but boring. From now till 31 August 2024, the hotel is serving their Desserts are Forever Afternoon Tea, priced at $120++ for two.

Start off with some Truffle Duck Rillettes Croquettes and move to the sweets, which are the highlights. Tuck into Lemon Meringue Eclairs, Pine Nut Tarts, Fruity Macarons and more, then move on to Traditional Scones, paired with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
