This Condo Cafe Has Fresh Pastries and Coffee, Feels Like You’re In Someone’s Home

When someone says the Neighbourly makes them feel “right at home”, they mean that quite literally. For one, the cafe is literally located inside a housing estate—Pandan Valley Condominium in Bukit Timah, to be exact.

It is also modelled to look like the inside of someone’s house. There are two storeys connected via a spiral staircase, and cosy furnishings throughout the space.

The menu here is what one would expect from cafes: plenty of fresh pastries, cake, sandwiches, and brunch fare.

Pastries include classics such as Cinnamon Roll ($7), Chocolate Au Pain ($8), and Croissant ($5). Neighbourly also has some pastry sandwiches worth trying, including Ham & Cheese ($9) and Chicken Chonzo & Cheddar ($9).

For something heartier, the Rosette, Chorizo, Mozzarella, Artichoke, Crema, Pesto, Focaccia ($22) is a sandwich packed with the aforementioned ingredients. If you still have room for more, get a sweet treat such as the Chocolate Caramel Cake ($10.50); if not, complete your meal with drinks such as Cappuccino ($6.50) or Pistachio Cream Latte ($9).

Neighbourly isn’t the most conveniently located—it is located closest to Dover MRT Station, which is quite some distance away. Still, you may want to check out this cafe if it’s homely ambience appeals to you!
