Niku Niku Oh Kome Opens Second Outlet In Jurong East With Famous Wagyu Hamburg

Niku Niku Oh Kome opens second outlet at Westgate

Niku Niku Oh Kome, a Japanese-owned Chinese hamburg chain, opened its first outlet at Weave mall in Resorts World Sentosa after successful expansions into Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Good news for fans of the famous Wagyu hamburg: a second outlet has just opened at Westgate in Jurong East, where you can watch fresh patties being grilled right in front of you.

The newest outlet features a 40-seat dining area, including spots right by the grill where you can watch chefs make the patties from scratch and cook them to about 30% doneness. There’s even a personal tabletop grill so you can cook your patty exactly how you like it.

If it’s your first time at Niku Niku, try the classic 2 Original Hamburg Steak ($16.80++). It comes with juicy beef patties, free-flow rice, miso soup, broccoli, and a raw pasteurised egg yolk, all topped with a drizzle of house-made teriyaki sauce.

Customising your meal to your liking is the highlight here. It starts with grilling the meat, then pairing your steak with signature sauces and condiments. Among the sauces, Aurora Sauce is a creamy, tangy tomato-mayonnaise blend, perfect if you like a milder flavour. For something with a punch, the Spice Mum Chilli Sauce is ideal, as its shrimp paste base adds both spice and depth to the patties.

If you’d like a twist, try the 1 Original + 1 Cheese Hamburg Steak ($16.80++) instead. Each cheese patty comes topped with a slice of melted cheddar and freshly grated Grana Padano, prepared right at your table.

Niku Niku Oh Kome at Westgate is still in its initial phase, so things are just finding their rhythm. Please extend some grace if you encounter any hiccups along the way.
