Get $1++ Salmon Sashimi At One Sushi This September

$1++ Salmon Sashimi At One Sushi

Salmon sashimi is a staple dish at any Japanese restaurant. And now you can fill yourself up silly with these orange-hued fish without going broke, thanks to One Sushi’s awesome September promotion. Available for 10 days from 21 September to 30 September 2018, the three-month-old homegrown Japanese restaurant will be offering three slices of salmon sashimi at just $1++.

Using Norwegian salmon that are air-flown in thrice a week, you can ensure quality and freshness in their sashimi. On top of that, they also prepare their sashimi the traditional way by using a yanagiba – a special sashimi knife – to gently remove the scales of the fish. This method ensures the fish remains tender and supple.

Taking a leaf out of Genki’s book, One Sushi’s dishes are delivered by a car through an automated system. I’m not the most patient person, so I love Japanese restaurants that have a conveyor belt, since I don’t have to wait for my food to be served. If you’re like me, you will be glad to know that One Sushi also has a rotating conveyor sushi belt offering up to 50 types of sushi and Japanese appetisers. Prices start at $1.50++ for a yellow plate, which is really affordable.

The mentaiko trend is far from over, and you can indulge in an array of scrummy mentaiko dishes here too. Savour items such as Ika Mentai ($4.80++), Ebi Mentai ($6.80++) and Salmon Mentai ($7.80++). They even serve French Fries Mentai ($3.80++) for you to nibble on!

From avoiding the massive blackout in Singapore to having $1++ sashimi in their hood, I guess it’s really a win for Yishun’s residents this month. Now, we just have to make our way over.

Address: 3 Northpoint Drive, #01-04, Yishun Town Square, Singapore 760925
