Park Bench Deli Reopens As New Food Trailer In The CBD

Park Bench Deli reopens in Raffles Place

When the popular Park Bench Deli abruptly shut its doors at Telok Ayer back in March 2023, it was met with genuine disappointment from many fans who had fallen in love with its deli offerings. There is good news, however, as after a brief comeback at a pop-up at Dempsey’s The Pantry earlier this year, the brand is now entering its next chapter with its own food trailer at Ocean Financial Centre in Raffles Place.

For now, the trailer offers a smaller, revamped menu featuring new offerings. While we don’t have photos of these dishes just yet, here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect before heading down to the trailer.

Building on the success of the Philly Cheesesteak from their Dempsey pop-up, the brand has introduced a slightly different variation: the Cheesesteak ($20), featuring sliced roast beef, provolone, sautéed onions, cheddar and garlic aioli, all tucked into a sesame baguette.

They also offer the Bourdain’s Mortadella ($24), named after one of the favourite sandwiches of famed food icon Anthony Bourdain. It features crispy mortadella, provolone cheese, Dijon mustard, and mayo in a Kaiser roll.

With the brand’s expertise in crafting flavour-packed sandwiches, the Goodfellas ($24) is another strong choice to consider. This variation features crispy mortadella and Iberico salami layered with creamy stracciatella cheese, arugula, and red wine onions, all brought together with a special sauce and served in a sesame baguette.
For a more indulgent option, the Steak Frites ($22) is a solid pick. It features roast beef brisket, miso au poivre sauce, and smoky cheddar cheese in a sesame baguette, served alongside thunder crunch fries.

One of the most well-received items at the Dempsey pop-up was the Pastrami Reuben Sandwich, starring brisket that was brined for 14 days and smoked low and slow for five to six hours, before being steamed overnight before serving. While that may not be available here for now, you can expect the brisket to be prepared with the same care as always.

Another brisket option is the classic Corned Beef ($28) sandwich, a grilled sesame baguette packed with garam masala corned beef brisket, cheddar, coleslaw, pickles and Russian dressing. Don’t miss the Tuna Melt ($16) and Chicken Salad ($18) either, with both being hearty picks.
While its new Raffles Place food trailer is still in its early days, we are confident that Park Bench Deli will live up to its reputation for serving consistently delicious deli fare, just as it has done over the past few years. The next time you’re in the CBD or simply looking for a quick lunch bite, make sure to stop by the trailer for a satisfying meal.
