Pipes by Hattendo Has Cream Bun Deals Till 12 August Only

Pipes by Hattendo cream buns promo

Singapore has its fair share of Japanese cafes, but Pipes by Hattendo is by far one of the most well known names. Located in Outram Park, this Japanese cafe is best known for their sandos and cream buns, which will be going on sale from now till 12 August, in celebration of the cafe’s anniversary on 10 August.

Typically, one of these cream buns will set you back about $2.80+, but as part of the anniversary promotion, you can get five cream buns for $8.10+, which makes one bun now $1.60+!

There are plenty of flavours to choose from, all filled with premium, airy cream.

Our favourites are the Matcha and the Chocolate, but there’s also the Custard, Whipped Cream, and Azuki Bean.

The buns are entirely handmade, from the fluffy brioche, to the flavoured middles.

New, limited-time-only beef steak sandos will also be released in celebration of the anniversary. Available for the same duration, you get two choices: the Hokkaido A4 Wagyu Sirloin Steak Sando ($80+), and the Hokkaido A4 Chateaubriand Wagyu Sando ($85+). If these prices are way out of your budget, no sweat. Grab yourself the cream buns and try out other, more wallet-friendly items on their menu.

A popular pick is their Nitamago Potato Salad Sando ($14+), which comes with two runny ajitama eggs, and a house-made potato salad laced with truffle oil.

For something locally-inspired, try the Otah Sando ($16+), where house-made Nama Shokupan toast sandwiches a thick slab of spicy otah.

There’s also a more wallet-friendly Hokkaido Wagyu Sando ($20+), which isn’t made with A4 grade Wagyu, but is still delicious, and melt-in-your-mouth tender.

Pipes by Hattendo is also known for their coffee. They’re the first fully automated coffee roaster in Singapore, and allow guests to choose from a global selection of specialty beans to take home. You can also enjoy their coffee beverages in-house over a meal.
