PPP Coffee: Chye Seng Huat Hardware’s New Sister Cafe Opens With 1-For-1 Coffee

PPP Coffee, previously known as Papa Palheta, gives us another reason to head over to Funan, one of the hottest malls in town at the moment. As an opening promotion, they are offering 1-for-1 on any espresso-based coffee from today till 31 July 2019, between 3pm and 5pm.

All you have to do is follow PPP Coffee on Instagram and flash their Instagram page to the cashier before you make your order. Take note: each customer is only entitled to one redemption, and both drinks have to be the same order.

Opened by the same people behind Chye Seng Huat Hardware cafe and PULP in Malaysia, you can trust PPP Coffee for your daily dose of caffeine. Get a single shot of Espresso at $3+, or a double shot at $4+ if you need that extra boost of energy.

Also available for the 1-for-1 promotion are their White ($6+ for single shot, $7+ for double shot, $7+ for iced) and Mocha ($7+ or single shot, $8+ for double shot, $8+ for iced) coffees, which are great for those who prefer their coffee a little sweeter.

Though they do not offer the same extensive menu of savoury food as Chye Seng Huat Hardware does, PPP Coffee still boasts a unique range of toasts and desserts. Must-tries include the Cream Cheese Hebi Hiam + Sourdough ($7+) or Cream Cheese + Multigrain ($5+) for that pop of savoury and salty, and Coffee Gula Melaka Ondeh Ondeh ($0.80+ for one, $4.50+ for five pieces) for a toothsome treat.

Like an Apple store where you get to test out all the gadgets, this multi-sensory cafe also allows you to try your hand at brewing as well as test out the equipment sold in-house. Homebrewers will be spoilt for choice as they have tons of cool appliances such as a dripper glass, a French press made from aesthetic olive wood, and a pretty glass coffeemaker embellished with accents of wood and leather.
