After years of construction, Punggol Coast MRT Station finally opened in December 2024. Two months later, we heard another piece of good news: Punggol Coast Mall, located right next to the station, is slated to open in March 2025 with over 120 stores, including plenty of F&B establishments where you can enjoy hotpot buffet, cheap sushi and more.
We don’t know how many eateries will be in the mall, but there’s a confirmed list of popular and new establishments that you can look forward to. Paradise Hotpot is one of them, where you can indulge in a $19.90++ individual hotpot buffet comprising a meat platter of your choice, veggies and more.
For fans of Japanese fare, Sushi-GO is the place to go for affordable sushi with a shinkansen delivery system, where food is served and cleared on a Japanese bullet train. Their sushi items go as low as $1.80++, including Corn Mayo Gunkan, Tuna Mayo Gunkan, and Chuka Kurage Gunkan.Â
You’ll also find Din Tai Fung here, an ideal restaurant for corporate lunches or family gatherings. Recently, we tried the viral mochi chocolate xiao long bao, which comes in either six pieces for $12.80++ or 10 pieces for $15.80++. This is part of Din Tai Fung’s permanent menu available at all outlets islandwide, so try it for yourself to see if it’s worth the hype.
Other popular chains you can anticipate at Punggol Coast Mall include Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Jollibee, Playmade, and Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks. Besides these familiar names, there will be new additions such as White Cloud Cafe, where you can visit for all-day breakfast and brunch items.
We’ll update this space with more information, so keep your eyes peeled!
