The toasted sandwich scene in Singapore has just become more colourful with the addition of a new entrant. Hailing from just across the Causeway, Kuma Rainbow Cheese Toast features super stretchy vibrant-coloured toasts that make pulling the ‘rainbow’ out of them oh-so-satisfying.

We first covered Kuma in our KSL City guide where their ‘gram-worthy #cheesepull shot and adorable packaging left us quite impressed. Singaporeans can now taste the rainbow at their new outlet located at Westgate. The toasts come in two varieties – Signature ($5.90) and Rainbow ($6.90). The Signature is filled with regular colourless mozzarella cheese, while the Rainbow includes the highly coveted rainbow cheese that looks perfect for the ‘gram.

Taking longggg cheese pull to the next level, the colours are derived from natural food colouring so you can be sure that you won’t be puking out any rainbows anytime soon.

Kuma is giving out free rainbow toasts each week, until the end of August 2018, as part of their grand opening launch. All you need to do is hashtag #kuma.sg and #rainbowcheesetoast on your Instagram post.

The toasted sandwich scene is heating up with Say Chiizu, Isaac Toast, Egg Drop and now Kuma. What are your thoughts on sandwich toasts? Will they be a quick fad or are they better than the traditional kaya toast that we all know and love? Let us know down in the comments below!
