Best restaurants for iftar this Ramadan 2024

Ramadan 2024 has started and will continue until 9 April. During the fasting month, there are Ramadan bazaars aplenty where one can break fast, like the renowned ones in Geylang Serai and Kampong Gelam. but if you prefer a more formal setting for iftar with your loved ones, then look no further than this list. Numerous halal restaurants in Singapore have Ramadan 2024 promotions or special menus, which we’ve rounded up here.

J65 at JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La is on our list of the best seafood buffets in Singapore, and for good reason: their halal-certified buffet lets you dig into free-flow Boston lobsters, king crabs, prawns, and mussels, atop an extensive selection of Asian and Western buffet dishes. Consider breaking your fast over a hearty feast this Ramadan with their Iftar Buffet, priced at $98++ per adult, or $58++ per child. The buffet is available every Monday to Thursday and on Sunday, between 6pm to 9:30pm. Kids’ prices are valid for children aged five to 11, while those under four dine for free with every paying adult.

You get all the seafood delights we mentioned earlier and a line-up of restaurant signatures. One of them is the Hyderabad Dum Biryani, a super fragrant briyani starring whole roasted lamb marinated for 24 hours, in a 24-spice blend. Another must-try is the Nasi Dagang, starring coconutty rice served with the crowd fave, Ayam Panggang Golek. Spicy food lovers have to get the Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot, starring a piquant, tangy broth and fresh seafood. Don’t forget to round off the meal with their Durian Pengat, their famed, creamy durian mousse dessert made with real flesh from the fruit.

FYI, you can top up $10++ on your buffet fee to enjoy a $25 credit voucher at the Palawan @ Sentosa—something to consider if you frequent Sentosa often! Make your reservations here.
