Ramadan in Singapore runs from 10 March to 9 April 2024 this year. During the fasting month, it is customary for bazaars and night markets to pop up across the island, offering visitors shopping, entertainment, and most importantly, good food in droves.

The Kampong Gelam Ramadan Bazaar 2024 is an annual fixture on Singapore’s fasting month calendar. This year’s edition promises over 107 stalls—its largest iteration yet—held across Kandahar Street, Muscat Street, and Baghdad Street. Open daily from 2pm to 11pm, till 5 April, diners can swing by and explore the plethora of food stalls available here, from loaded hotdogs and fries to pisang keju with a range of toppings, to XXL tubs of taro ice cream-flavoured drinks to quench your thirst.

Another giant in the scene is the Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2024, open from now till 10 April, between 10am to 12am daily. This Eastside bazaar has plenty to whet your appetite, thanks to the 150 Muslim-friendly food stalls on site. Many of the food stalls here will be familiar to annual patrons, but don’t expect the same old, same old. Geylang Serai bazaar veteran Praffles by Fooditude, for example, is back with eye-catching “cigarette box” loaded fries, while popular loaded fries joint, Frites, has partnered with renowned hotdog eatery, Kream, to offer both their bestsellers in one spot.

East side, best side just got a lot more cred with the ecoHarmony Festival Bedok Ramadan Bazaar 2024. This is the largest Ramadan event in Bedok yet, with over 200 stalls across the event space—an open field next to Bedok Sports Hall. The bazaar has been opened since 20 February and will continue to operate till 9 April. True to its name, the ecoHarmony Festival is designed to be sustainable, spotlighting local artisans, performers, and food. Stalls here lean towards offering traditional bazaar fare, from nasi kerabu to lekor.

The Tampines MRT Hari Raya Fair is another one Easties ought to check out. Open daily from now till 7 April, the pasar malam-style event promises a line-up of food stalls and shopping opportunities. Expect to dig into popular bazaar eats such as takoyaki, Ramly burgers, satay and more.

Another one in the Tampines ‘hood is the Hari Raya Food Bazaar, which runs from 23 March to 7 April. Held in the Our Tampines Hub Central Plaza from 3pm to 10pm on weekdays, and 12pm to 10pm on weekends, this upcoming, food-centric bazaar promises a wide range of eats that’ll leave you stuffed. No word yet on what kinds of stalls we can expect, but we’re expecting classic bazaar eats that we know will be delicious.

For two days only, The Southern Depot at Gillman Barracks will host the Rumah Kita Eid Market, organised by Me-You Market and LalooLalang. Held on 16 March and 17 March, the event spotlights local and regional creators, from craft brands to fashion labels, as well as small Muslim-owned food businesses so you can stock up on Hari Raya goodies.

Those living in the North might be familiar with the Bazar Raya Utara name. These are huge, annual Ramadan pasar malam events, starring food stalls, shopping opportunities, and even live performances! This year’s edition will be held in two locations, from now to 4 April: in the open field next to Sembawang MRT Station, and next to Admiralty MRT Station. If the crowds in Geylang Serai get too much for you, seek respite in the smaller, nearby PLQ Ramadan Bazaar 2024. Located in the open space next to PLQ Mall and Paya Lebar MRT Station, this bazaar runs from 14 March to 9 April and promises an exciting line-up of food vendors, though full details have yet to be released.

From 29 March to 31 March, the annual Mega Raya Expo is your chance to get ready for all the Hari Raya festivities to come. Held at the Expo, the huge Hari Raya fair will have an extensive selection of food stalls on site, offering ready-to-eat items to break fast, as well as Hari Raya goodies and ingredients to prep for all the home visits you’ll have coming up. Look forward to popular kueh lapis and macaron brands setting up shop here, as well as food kiosks offering trendy eats such as bubble waffles.

Here’s another Ramadan bazaar for North-siders: the annual Bazaria Marsiling, located next to Woodlands MRT Station, will be held again this year, from now till 8 April. The event promises a paradise for foodies across a variety of F&B stalls, selling everything from Malaysian-style curry mee to handmade otah, grilled to order. Live performances from local celebs will also be held during the bazaar!

The Zak Salaam India Expo is running their 35th edition in Singapore, themed around Hari Raya. Held between 28 March to 31 March, the expo will spotlight F&B stalls selling Muslim-friendly eats and ingredients at heavily discounted prices for your upcoming Hari Raya feasts, as well as community iftar events!

Suntec City’s convention centre will play host to one of the largest Ramadan events in Singapore from 29 March to 31 March. Held across four event halls, CelebFest Ramadan 2024 is all about good food, shopping opportunities, and celebrity performances. Naturally, if you’re there for the food, you can look forward to food stalls selling ready-to-eat dishes, as well as more Hari Raya goodies and snacks. Admission is free too!
