If you’re a fan of the offerings at popular Japanese ramen joint IPPUDO, here’s good news for you: they just launched Roll Sushi by IPPUDO, a brand-new sushi takeaway kiosk at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

While IPPUDO’s speciality is tonkotsu ramen, this kiosk, on the other hand, focuses on sushi rolls. Compared to the many dine-in sushi joints, the offerings here are packed conveniently for takeaway, perfect for a quick bite on the go.

Roll Sushi by IPPUDO specialises in two types of sushi rolls: Maki and Tatami. The former is a classic cylindrical sushi roll, while the latter is a type of pressed sushi roll that resembles a sandwich. There will be 16 flavours of Maki and Tatami to choose from, starting from $16

To start, go for the Samurai Spice Roll ($17), packed with all the good stuff: salmon, shrimp, enoki mushrooms, and crab sticks. Or if your taste is a little more atas, go for the Tokyo Crunch Roll ($23) which features tuna tartare dressed in wasabi mayonnaise for a little kick.

Else, take your pick from their selection of tatami hand rolls. You can’t go wrong with the simple Mentaiko Spam Tatami ($16) which consists of fried spam, tamago, cabbage, and mentaiko.

Other delectable flavours include the Garden BBQ Tatami ($16) which stars deep-fried tofu and avocado tempura, and Island Sunrise Tatami ($17) which has soft-boiled eggs and vegetable tempura.

The new kiosk is located in the basement of MBS, so make your way down to see if the new items are worth the hype.
