Serangoon Gardens is home to several cafes, but Apollo Coffee Bar stands out as a longtime fave. Some liken the cafe to those in Bali, while others say it’s a nod to Australian coffee houses. Either way, expect quality cups of coffee, as well as a day and night menu. Their Lemon Curd & Hotcakes ($15.50++) is a popular pick, where diner-style hotcakes are topped with a tart lemon curd. Else, if you’re coming by for dinner, they’ve got fusion mains served from 5pm onwards, including a Wagyu Cheeseburger ($21.40++), and Chorizo Squid Risotto ($23.50++).
