Shake Shack Great World To Open On 28 April, The Burger Chain’s Sixth Outlet In Singapore

Not too long ago, Shake Shack launched Chick’N Bites here in Singapore, bringing us their ultra tasty little morsels of sous-vide, and deep-fried chicken. The latest with the American fast food chain is not another food launch, but yet another outlet at Great World, bringing the well-loved burgers and shakes to the heart of town.

This outlet, the chain’s sixth in Singapore, will feature murals by local artist Toby Tan, better known as tobyato. His playful, bold graphics have graced the likes of Asics and adidas, so it’s no wonder that Shake Shack Great World has brought him on board to honour Great World’s colourful past as one of  Singapore’s first amusement parks, back in the 1920s.

Shake Shack Great World will be located on the first floor of the mall, which has recently seen a facelift. The unit will be located near the taxi drop-off point on Kim Seng Road. Fortunately, it’s confirmed that their newest outlet will open its doors to the public on 28 April, since I know many of us have been keeping our eyes peeled for that.

To commemorate the opening of the Great World outlet, there will indeed be a limited-time Jalapeno Ranch menu, available across all their branches from April 28 to June 15. 

This time, they’ve zhnged up their classic favourites by introducing the new Jalapeno Ranch ShackBurger ($11.90 for single patty). For their newest creation, they’ve added a ranch sauce, that’s made with real parmesan cheese, and pickled jalapeno chillies for that extra peppery kick. 

If you prefer poultry instead, go for the Jalapeno Ranch Chick’n Shack ($11.90) for a slight twist on their crispy chicken burger, and pair it with a side of Jalapeno Ranch Fries ($6.50) to complete your meal.

As a homage to Great World’s amusement park heritage, they also have two exclusive new Concrete ($7.50 for single scoop) flavours made specifically for this particular outlet. One of those are Poppin’ Good Time, made with a vanilla custard base with chocolate pop rocks, brownies, salted caramel sauce, and finished off with gold sprinkles. The other is the fruitier Berry Ferris Swell, which is their decadent custard mixed with raspberries and cheesecake.
