A bowl of Fishball Noodles here starts from $5.50. Each bowl features a pile of noodles tossed in chilli, vinegar, and lard served alongside soup with fishballs, fish cake, tau pok. Patrons have praised nearly every aspect of this dish, especially the springy fishballs. If you’re much of a fishball noodles fan, then you can opt for the Fish Soup ($6.50). While this dish doesn’t get as much attention as Shen Ji’s signature dish, we hear that it is nevertheless a comforting and mostly quality rendition of fish soup. You can even pair it with your fishball noodles, should you feel extra peckish during your visit.
