Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks Has New Super Ultra Spicy Burger Made With XXL Crispy Chicken

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks launches Super Ultra Spicy Burger

Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks is best known for their XXL Crispy Chicken, which, to many of us, is the perfect snack to have on the go. Good news, the popular Taiwanese food chain is launching a new Super Ultra Spicy Burger for all you spice lovers! Since their newest item is only available during the festive season, do note that it will be here for a good time, not a long time.

Their Super Ultra Spicy Burger comes in two forms: Single Patty Ala Carte ($8.50), and Double Patty Ala Carte ($9.90). Pay an additional $3.30 to make it a meal comprising a drink, and the popular Sweet Plum Potato Fries.

The burger features a successful combination of potato buns loaded with their signature XXL Crispy Chicken, a slice of melted cheese, a thick fried egg, and fresh lettuce.

Also, you can choose the spice level for their XXL Crispy Chicken: no spice, regular spice, and super spicy. If you’re partial to punchy flavours, go big or go home—the super spicy will do just the trick. Else, the regular spice is ideal for those who want to save their tears.

We were a tad intimidated by the size of the crispy chicken upon receiving the burgers. But to our surprise, our eating experience wasn’t as difficult or messy as it appeared at first glance. Their signature crispy chicken was a good fit for the burger, and made for a substantial meal with robust flavours.

Here’s even better news: from 23 November to 30 November 2023, buy one burger and get the second one at 50% off! Alternatively, get the Shihlin’s Buddy Meal at a special price of $19.90 from 1 December to 31 December 2023. It comes with two Single Patty set meals, which will usually set you back at $23.60!

For more good deals, find out more about 88 K Town AKA the latest addition to Bugis Junction hosting a medley of popular Korean brands. Otherwise, read our Xi Men Jie review for Taiwanese lu rou fan and more from $3.90.
