Singapore’s OG Froyo Brand Sogurt Is Reopening At One Holland Village

Sogurt returns with a new outlet at One Holland Village

If your teenage afternoons involved queueing with your schoolmates for a cup of froyo you swirled and topped yourself, you’ll want to hear this. Sogurt, the homegrown brand that introduced Singapore to self-serve frozen yoghurt, is coming back with a new outlet at One Holland Village in December 2026.

Sogurt first opened along Bukit Timah Road in March 2010, and it was the first froyo shop here that let customers handle the dispensing and toppings entirely on their own. Students from the schools nearby kept the queues snaking out the door, and at its peak, the brand grew to 15 outlets across the island.

As the first froyo wave cooled, Sogurt scaled down to a single flagship, KARA Cafe & Dessert Bar, at its original Bukit Timah shophouse. KARA closed its doors in June 2022, and Sogurt has stayed off the brick-and-mortar scene since.

The timing of this comeback makes a lot of sense. Self-serve froyo is having a second moment in Singapore, sparked largely by Australian chain Yo-Chi Frozen Yogurt, which opened its first outlet at Orchard Central in August 2025 and drew queues for months.

The brand has since expanded to The Star Vista and Westgate, and a hoarding has been spotted at i12 Katong for a possible fourth Yo-Chi outlet.

Details on the new Sogurt outlet are still scarce. The brand has teased its return on Instagram, but the exact opening date, flavours, toppings, and prices are all TBD for now.

Back in its heyday, Sogurt was known for its low-fat froyo and DIY topping bar, so we’re curious to see whether the new menu sticks to the classics or brings in fresh flavours to keep up with the newer players. We’ll update this article once more details are out.

One Holland Village is about a five-minute walk from Holland Village MRT Station.

In the meantime, check out our Yogeek review for high-protein froyo on Haji Lane.

Address: 7 Holland Village Way, One Holland Village, Singapore 275748 (unit number TBD)
Opening hours: TBD
