13 Stadium Food Places To Visit Before Or After A Concert

Best Stadium food places for dinner or supper

There are many exciting concerts and sports events currently happening, or in the pipeline for 2025, here in Singapore. Whether you’re catching Taylor Swift or the upcoming Lady Gaga show, or you simply find yourself near the National Stadium, drop by one of these nearby restaurants to satisfy your tummy before or after your concert. This list of the best Stadium food places goes beyond Kallang Leisure Park and Kallang Wave Mall!

1. The Soup Spoon Union

For a light yet hearty meal, order a comforting bowl of soup at The Soup Spoon Union. There are eight flavours to choose from: Tangy Tomato (from $7.20+), Boston Clam Chowder (from $9.50+), Beef Goulash (from $9.50+) and more. If you can’t decide what to get, we recommend getting a half-and-half soup for $9.90+ instead. There are flatbreads and sandwiches to pair with your soup, with options such as Herb Chicken Breast with Mushroom ($6.90+) and Smoked Salmon ($9.20+).

2. Typhoon Cafe

For wallet-friendly Taiwanese fare near the stadium, head to Typhoon Cafe at Kallang Wave Mall. The first dish that comes to mind when we think of Taiwanese food is typically Signature Taiwanese Oyster Mee Sua ($12.90++); you can even add pork intestines ($2.90++) to substantiate your meal. What we really liked when we visited the cafe, though, was the Claypot Sanbei Chicken ($18.90++), made using soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil for a fragrant touch. You can have this with the Panko Canadian Pork Chop ($15.90++) too; we recommend mixing the leftover claypot chicken sauce with the fried rice for added oomph.

For those heading down early to get in line before the concert starts, visit Fun Toast with a hearty breakfast. This old-school breakfast chain has been around since 1941, and there’s a good reason why so many customers return time and time to get their Kaya Butter Toast Set ($5.90). It’s the most affordable option out of all the popular kaya toast franchises in Singapore. There are other toast options available, namely the Min Jiang Kueh Soft Bun ($6.10) and Honey Butter French Toast ($5.60).

4. Suki-Ya

The best way to end the night after a concert at the National Stadium is by indulging in an all-you-can-eat hotpot feast. If this sounds like a good plan, Suki-Ya is one for the books; their lunch buffet is priced at $22.90++ per person, while dinner costs $27.90++ per person. First, choose your broth from six kinds: tomato, sukiyaki, and fresh soy miso are some examples. Then, feast on their fresh selection of meats, including pork, chicken, beef short plate, beef chuck roll, and chicken meat ball. There’s even free-flow ice cream, available only during lunch for just an additional $1++ if you’d like to round off your meal on a sweet note.

If you’re looking for a fancy dinner spot before catching a concert, check out Song Yue Taiwan Cuisine, a Taiwanese restaurant at Leisure Park Kallang. Song Yue departs from the usual street fare, offering home-style Taiwanese dishes that extend beyond the typical oyster mee sua.

One must-try on the menu is the Farm Chicken with Spring Onion ($18.90++/$33.90++), which comes with a mountain of finely chopped spring onion atop tender chicken meat. They also have Ah Ma’s Rice Vermicelli and Taro Soup ($23.90++), starring fine rice vermicelli from Xin Zhu served in a hearty pork bone broth brimming with sliced pork belly, lala, shiitake mushrooms, and taro chunks.
