SCAPE has been undergoing a makeover recently, and now houses the popular Korean froyo chain Yoajung. Another new addition to the block is SuiTok, a cosy, simple cafe that serves up drinks and desserts at wallet-friendly prices.

For starters, their Shio Pan is priced at just $1.70. We visited 11 bakeries to find the best shio pan in Singapore, and while we didn’t try SuiTok’s, it stands out as the cheapest we’ve seen so far.

The bulk of the menu features traditional Chinese desserts starting from $4.50, with over 10 items to choose from. If you can’t decide what to get, take a look at their signatures on the menu, including Pumpkin Mochi Milk Delight ($4.50), Taro Velvet Milk ($5.50), and Milky Triump ($8.80).

The latter is a winning combination of grass jelly, red bean, colourful taro balls, peach gum, and lotus seed, served in your choice of base: milk, oat milk, coconut milk, or fungus water.

Another popular choice is the Pistachio Fairy Cream ($8.50), a simple dessert comprising thick yet smooth pistachio paste topped with crunchy pistachio crumbs.

For matcha lovers, you can’t go wrong with the Emerald Mountain Matcha ($6.60): rice mochi topped with tapioca pearls and matcha ice cream. You get a generous serving of stretchy, chewy mochi in this bowl, perfect for those who appreciate mochi desserts.
