Homegrown bakery Swish Rolls first rose to internet fame in 2022 for their TikTok-viral cream croissants. Shortly after, they opened a store in Paragon selling their signature mochi croissant egg tarts, which also received rave reviews online. Now, they’re back with a cool new series: Croissant Puffs.
Retailing at $10 for a box of four, the Croissant Puffs are said to be a cross between buttery croissant dough and choux pastry. This new creation boasts a flaky exterior, paired with cream and mochi.
There’s the Kaya Mochi Croissant Puff. Here, you get creamy pandan kaya and stretchy mochi encased by the unique croissant puff dough.
Another locally inspired flavour is the Taro Mochi Croissant Puff, starring orh nee paste and QQ mochi in the middle.
There are two mochi-less puffs in each box, one of which is the Strawberry Vanilla Croissant Puff. This treat comprises a smooth vanilla cream and strawberry gelee.
Else, chocolate lovers will enjoy the Dark Chocolate Crispy Croissant Puff, which pairs luscious dark chocolate ganache with crispy chocolate bits for a party in the mouth.
The Croissant Puffs can also be purchased at $3 each, should you not want the whole box.
While you’re there, go all out and try Swish Rolls’ new Matcha Pistachio Crookie ($3.50), the bakery’s take on the viral crookie trend in Singapore. You get their signature croissant, filled with matcha and pistachio cookie dough, along with chewy mochi. The pastry is finished with even more cookie dough, pistachio sauce, roasted pistachio bits, and matcha powder. Talk about indulgence!
You can pre-order these bakes at Swish Rolls’ website, or head down to their Paragon store to snag them.
