Here’s a good reason to head to town this weekend: Takashimaya has a new food fair that’s happening from now till 3 March 2025! The Delightful Treats and Bites of Joy fair sees over 10 vendors across Basement 2 of the mall, at Food Stops 1-3.
Ji Xiang, which made waves online for their labubu ang ku kueh last year, has set up shop at the fair. You can look forward to their traditional ang ku kueh in an assortment of flavours and colours, priced between $2 to $4 per piece. Take advantage of their buy-seven-get-one-free promotion!
You’ll also find these adorable Sanrio Macarons (from $6) at Sugarsmith‘s booth. Available in My Melody, Hello Kitty, and Cinnamoroll designs, these uber-cute macarons are great as gifts!
Don’t forget to check out the animal-shaped bread by Bread and Butter Bakehouse, in three shapes: Choco Bear, Bunny Sausage, and Sotong. Each bun is priced at $3.
Super Sister Durians is making an appearance at the fair too. Get their freshly made Merlionyaki, a unique twist on the classic Japanese street snack, taiyaki. These pancakes are available in two flavours, Azuki ($4.50) and Durian ($8.90). You get a light and crispy exterior paired with your choice of filling within.
While you’re there, peruse the wide assortment of ready-to-eat snacks, ranging from the Taiwanese KAKA Seafood Mixed Chips ($8.95) to Calbee Hokkaido Premium Potato ($18.50) from Japan.
Takashimaya Delightful Treats and Bites of Joy fair runs till 3 March, so head down soon before it’s too late!
