Chocolate eggs, magical bunnies, lavish feasts ā whatās not to love about Easter? Tiong Bahru Bakery gives you even more reason to cheer this April with a 1-for-1 deal when you take away their Pain Au Chocolat ($3.50), or chocolate croissant, on Easter Sunday, 21 April 2019.
This modern French bakery is known for their top-notch croissants, freshly baked every two hours using French butter and flour. Youāll get that same flaky baked goodness in their pain au chocolat ā buttery croissants filled with luxurious chocolate cream.
Thatās not all the home-grown bakery has in store for Easter Sunday. Theyāve also whipped up two new goodies, exclusively available from 17 to 21 April 2019.
The pretty Holky Yolky Tart ($10.90+) is a cheeky play on an Easter egg tart. Donāt worry, those arenāt four hard-boiled eggs atop the tart, but rather mounds of cream, with sunny yolks made from passionfruit. Forming its foundation is an opulent chocolate hazelnut tart that Nutella lovers are sure to jump on.
Next up is the punny āI Loaf Easterā Bread ($9.50+). This twisty, baguette-shaped loaf continues the chocolatey theme, studded with chunks of white and dark chocolate.
Parents can also consider bringing their kids to Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari at Dempsey this Easter. An Easter Egg Hunt is being held at their glamping-themed outlet on 20 and 21 April, open to kids aged 10 and below, free of charge. 20 prizes are up for grabs each day, so head down to spice up your Easter weekend with some family-friendly fun.
