Steak specialist, The Feather Blade will be running a 1-for-1 promotion on their gyudon on 4 April 2020. They will be running this deal for a single day only, or while stocks last.
The locally-owned steakhouse has come a long way since opening last year. Back then, they were only opened for dinner on weekends, and served only a single cut of steak. Since then, they have progressed to operating every day and have innovated with plenty of exciting dishes such as burgers and gyudon.
The Feather Blade Gyūdon ($14++) will cost just $7++ with this promotion, and makes for a quick and filling meal. This dish starts with a bed of Japanese rice, which is then topped with a jiggly onsen egg and thin slices of flat iron steak that are marinated in a house-made sukiyaki marinade. It’s then finished with caramelised onions, and a sprinkle of furikake and garlic chips.
The flat iron cut is featured heavily across all the items at The Feather Blade, and it’s a part of the cow that is both flavourful and tender at the same time.Â
Besides the gyudon, be sure to also check out their best-selling The Feather Blade Steak ($21++) which features 200g of flat iron steak. It’s a good and value-for-money cut of steak that would put many high-end steakhouses to shame. Take note that no sauces or sides are given, and you’ll have to top up $2++ for a sauce or $7++ for a side.Â
This Saturday’s promotion will be only available via reservations only. So be sure to make a booking by texting the restaurant on their number below via WhatsApp. They’re also opening for more shifts, which means that customers can now enjoy their mouth-watering steaks on Mondays and brunch on weekends.
