Malaysia’s Famous The Ice Cream Bar Opens In Singapore With Alcoholic Ice Cream And Waffles

Famous cafe The Ice Cream Bar from KL in SG

Ice cream and waffle joints are a dime a dozen in Singapore, but we bet you’ve not seen one like The Ice Cream Bar. Hailing from Kuala Lumpur, this cafe is a household name in Malaysia for their boozy ice cream, starring flavours often made in collaboration with cocktail bars.

They recently announced their opening in Kampong Bahru Road, located in the Outram Park area. This opening is the second famous Malaysian ice cream import we’ve had this year—the other being Inside Scoop.

Flavours you can look forward to include Smoked Cognac, Baileys Brownies, Guinness Pistachio, and Kahlua Cheesecake, though if you don’t drink, there will be a rotation of a handful of non-alcoholic flavours on the menu. Prices start from $4.90 for a single, $8.50 for a double, and $11.60 for a triple scoop. Premium flavours are an extra $2.

Coffee beverages, both iced and hot, as well as tea and soft drinks, will also be served. A must-have beverage is an affogato ($7.80): a blend of hot espresso with creamy ice cream.

For those who prefer to take their favourite flavours home, takeaway pints are also available for $16.
