It seems like mochi desserts are here to stay—from mochi waffles to the Japan-famous Warabimochi Kamakura, the trend isn’t dying down just yet. Tiky Mochi is another contender in the scene; this home-based business is popular for their mochi cupcakes and muffins!
The Muslim-owned home bakery has close to 10,000 followers on Instagram. You can look forward to monthly specials for the cupcakes, alongside a staple collection of mochi muffins.

Those who want something less sinful can order their mochi muffins, priced from $19.50 for a box of 27 minis, and $16.50 for six regular muffins. For these, you can pick from four flavours: Black Sesame, Matcha, Chocolate Chip, and Double Chocolate. FYI: these mochi muffins are also gluten- and dairy-free!
To order, simply drop Tiky Mochi a DM on their Instagram page. Self-collection is available at Marine Parade, but you can also opt for delivery with a $10 top-up. Do note that the mochi muffins and cupcakes are available on selected days, so make sure you clarify with them before placing an order!
In related mochi news, Warabimochi Kamakura Orchard has officially opened, so you can head to town for your dessert fix. Else, Brotherbird Bakehouse is now at VivoCity with their popular mochi croissants!
