Trolls High Tea At Fairmont Singapore Is First Of Its Kind In Southeast Asia

Trolls high tea at Fairmont Singapore

The annual June holidays start next week, and with it comes the barrage of headache every parent faces: how to entertain the kids for four whole weeks. Here’s an idea you could consider, especially if you or mini me is a fan of the singing, dancing Trolls from the DreamWorks Animations film. From 27 May 2022, they’ll be calling Anti:dote at Fairmont Singapore their home for a limited time only, where you’ll be able to enjoy a Trolls high tea!

Expect a host of savoury and sweet Troll-themed treats, served in a tiered chest of drawers. In the same way that the small creatures come in rainbow hues, you can definitely look forward to a tea set bedecked in the same cheery shades.

On the savoury menu are five sandwiches, such as Crispy Seaweed, Smoked Ocean Trout, Citrus Sour and Trout RoePoached Lobster, Heirloom Tomato, Sumac, Hairy Cress and Charcoal Brioche.

For colourful touch, a rainbow bread sandwich comes with hummus, sugar pea, vegetable essence, and crispy onion hair.

Moving on from the savouries, there’s a Trolls Popping Pot, topped with a DreamWorks logo, alongside a pair of “Poppy” and “Branch” cupcakes in Speckled Rose and Blueberry respectively.

There are also Madagascan vanilla scones that come with lemon butter curd, Devonshire clotted cream, and strawberry marmalade. All this is priced at $72++ a person, and includes your choice of tea or coffee.

Add-ons are also available, where you can opt for an additional one or two amuse-bouche—the set will cost $80++ or $88++ depending on which option you choose. On the drinks front, $18++ gets you a Trolls Mocktail, which is a house-infused lemonade topped with blue cotton candy.

There are two high tea slots available each day at 12pm and 3pm, and it’s highly recommended that you make reservations via their website, via the phone at 6431 6156, or emailing Anti:dote at dining.singapore@fairmont.com.

Here’s a list of high tea options in Singapore that are more affordably priced at under $25++ a head; otherwise, JUMBO at ION Orchard has a dim sum high tea set too.

Address: 80 Bras Basah Road, Singapore 189560
