Sick of the usual white tablecloth restaurants? Here’s your chance to experience fine dining with a twist. Violet Herbs is a semi-formal fine-dining restaurant at Tanjong Pagar, serving a variety of innovative Modern European dishes you wouldn’t want to miss. Unwind in their themed interiors, a classy ground floor and a naturesque top floor. What’s more? Signature “herb cocktails” and the finest wines to go with your dish. Violet Herbs sees to it that you have a quality fine dining experience at an affordable rate.
Violet Herbs has officially launched their new menu, with changes to the Ala Carte Menu, Degustation Menu, Set Lunch Menu and Set Dinner Menu. The menus will feature all-time favourite classics and innovative creations by Chef Edward Hoe. Experience his finest masterpieces through a Sixcourse Degustation Menu ($118+) or indulge in a larger, more comprehensive offering of seasonal picks through the Eight-course Degustation Menu ($158+).
Look out for the Chef Special Canapés Platter in Ala Carte Appetizer, which includes six premium seasonal items carefully selected by Chef Hoe himself. Other imaginative creations launched in the new menu include the Jamon Ibérico de Bellota made with Black Mission Figs, and the Roasted Chilean Seabass with a delectable Yuzu Truffle Butter. Otherwise, go back to black with a Colorado Lamb Rack that comes with Pistachio Foie Gras Roulade, or simply a Cold Pasta (Angel Hair) made with Shio Seaweed and Truffle Oil.
Violet Herbs also have an upcoming event entitled “Katnook Estate”. It is a 4 Course Wine-Pairing Dinner showcasing dishes that combines the best of Chef Hoe’s culinary skills and vintage wines from James Halliday 5 Star Rated Winery. The event will run on the 17th of October 2015 with limited seats only for $128+ per person. Reservations can be done through phone or their website.
