VivoCity Has Over 40 Mooncake Brands, With Flavours Such As Pink Guava Ume, Premium MSW, And Raspberry Hokkaido Milk

Unique mooncakes from VivoCity for Mid-Autumn Festival 2021

With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching in less than a month’s time, you may be scrambling to get your last-minute mooncake fix. If you’re looking for some interesting flavours for gifting or for your personal consumption, VivoCity offers over 40 brands to choose from.

Here’s another reason to head down: from now till 21 September, simply spend a minimum of $50 at the F&B outlets in the mall and you’ll get to redeem a $10 shopping or dining voucher. A maximum of two same-day receipts can be used. This promotion is limited to one redemption per person per day, for the first 60 shoppers daily. On top of this promotion, you can also look forward to special prices for the mooncakes listed below.

Kick things off the traditional way with BreadTalk’s latest collaboration with Thye Moh Chan. From now till 5 September, you can bring home the Golden Reunion ($54.72, U.P. $60.80) set that comes with four pieces of traditional Teochew mooncakes in flavours such as Salty Tau Sar and Salted Egg Yolk, along with three pieces of Momoyama Mooncakes, and two tubes of tea leaves.

Inspired by its namesake Japanese wagashi, Momoyama mooncakes are characterised by smooth and delicate skin made with white kidney beans.

As opposed to traditional renditions, the baked Momoyama skin is lower in fat and sugar, making it an ideal pick for the health-conscious. These mooncakes come in three flavour options: Osmanthus, Cudweed and Dan Feng Tea, available for purchase in a box of six at $36.72 (U.P. $40.80).

This year’s edition also sees two new Teochew mooncake flavours: Olive Vegetable Tau Sar with Salted Egg Yolk ($42.12 for four pieces, U.P. $46.80), and Mandarin Peel Red Bean ($36.72 for four pieces, U.P. $40.80). The former features smooth mung bean filling with crunchy melon seeds and salted egg yolk, studded with olive vegetable for that sweet-savoury fusion, while the latter combines sweet red bean paste with mandarin peel for a refreshing citrus fragrance.

From now till 5 September, enjoy 10% off each box of mooncakes, and 15% off when you buy two boxes or more! Check out the full range at BreadTalk, #B2-34.

Fans of alcohol-infused mooncakes have to check out Kele’s exclusive range, which is sold in boxes of eight (from $68), in an all-new packaging. Highlights include the best-selling Mao Shan Wang, Avocado Macadamia, Lychee Martini, and Yuzu Champagne, alongside six new fruity flavours that are crafted with Valrhona’s premium chocolate truffles.

The specially designed mooncake box can also be repurposed and used as a mini dessert stand or converted into a pretty planter for your table.

A well-varied option would be the Boozy Tropicals ($70) set, which features four Alcohol-infused Snowskin Mooncakes, as well as four fruity flavours, including Sudachi Caramel, and Pink Guava Ume.

From now till 6 September, enjoy 25% off your purchase! Alternatively, order by 21 September for a 15% discount. Check out Kele’s mooncake range at #B2-K10.

Good news for vegans and vegetarians: Green Common offers vegan mooncake gift sets in various flavours, including Vegan Custard, Figs with Pistachio & Oats, and Mixed Nuts with Blueberries & Purple Sweet Potato. Each set of six mooncakes is priced from $54 to $56.

Made with plant-based ingredients, all mooncakes are free of trans fat and preservatives. The elegant gift set features boxes that are printed with soy ink. Each mooncake tray is made with sugarcane bagasse, while other components such as the box and trays are all completely compostable. Furthermore, the reusable box can be upcycled into a mini table, with a multi-player board game enclosed for extra fun during this festive season!

These mooncakes are available from 5 September, and the early bird promotion runs till 12 September, where you can enjoy 20% off your pre-order. You can also opt for self-pickup at the store, or delivery at a flat rate of $15. Visit the store at #01-169 to see the full range.

In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival 2021, TANGS is also running a mooncake fair inside their store located at Level 1. Featuring 27 brands, the fair includes crowd favourites such as Hong Kong MX and The Peninsula Boutique, available from now till 21 September
