Wang Wang Crispy Curry Puff Opens 2nd Outlet At Bendemeer Market

Wang Wang Crispy Curry Puff will open at Bendemeer Food Centre

If you love curry puffs as much as we do, you’ll want in on this news: Wang Wang Crispy Curry Puff, a popular stall at Old Airport Road Food Centre, is opening a second outlet at Bendemeer Market & Food Centre.

When we interviewed founder Ah Wong back in 2022, he revealed that his son was training as an apprentice in hopes of opening their second stall. Very soon, come 1 May 2024, fans can get their hands on their famous crispy puffs at their new Bendemeer location!

The OG stall, which started in the early 2000s in Old Airport Road, is said to be one of the first in Singapore to sell crispy curry puffs.

They’re known for their signature pastry shell, which nods to the Teochew-style mooncakes Ah Wong used to make when he worked as a pastry chef in hotels.

Over at their new outlet, their Curry, Yam Paste, and Sardine puffs will cost $1.80 each, while the Black Pepper puff will go for $2.

Besides crispy puffs, the Bendemeer stall will also sell their popular mooncakes during the Mid Autumn Festival season. Do note that an advanced pre-order is required for these mooncakes.

These Teochew-style, flaky mooncakes are made-to-order, and feature creamy house-made orh nee paste within.
