Whimsical Food Fair Is Back From 22 to 25 Nov At Marina Square

Marina Square Whimsical Food Fair 2018

Back after a successful first year, Marina Square is holding its second Whimsical Food Fair from 22nd to 25th November 2018. Travel down this rabbit hole for desserts straight out of Alice in Wonderland, such as animal macarons, voice-changing edible balloons and flavourful ramen. Here are some food vendors you can expect.

1. ShaunTeoCreations

It feels almost sacrilegious to chow down ShaunTeoCreations’ kawaii animal cake pops. That being said, the guilt will definitely subside once you get to their rich interior, which contains either a chocolate, vanilla, or red velvet cake.

The stall will also have floral-themed cake pops that are exclusive to the event, so be sure to check those out.

2. Rainbow Works

Those who missed out on Rainbow Work’s voice-changing edible balloons during this year’s Geylang Bazaar will be glad to know that these theatrical treats are available at the fair.

If you’re all about that “24-karat magic in the air” vibe, the stall is also bringing back their famous 24k gold ice cream – a luxurious charcoal earl grey lavender ice cream wrapped in a generous layer of edible 24k gold.

3. The Wicked Cream

Gourmet marshmallows are fast becoming a trend these days and The Wicked Cream is leading the charge with mouth-watering flavours like Sea Salt Gula Melaka, Chocolate Ferrero, and Red Velvet.

Those looking for a bevy of Insta-likes will wanna keep their phones on standby for their Roasted Ice Cream Smores which will be torched before your eyes.

4. Angel Baker

Angel Baker’s range of cute animal-shaped macarons will truly make you feel like you’ve tried a piece of heaven. Designs that are up for grabs include bunnies, pandas and lil’ chicks. Get ‘em individually or in a set.

5. Loco Loco

We know them for their delicious churros but Loco Loco will also be selling takoyaki topped with unique sauces like sour cream, torched cheese and mentaiko. If these pictures are anything to go by, you can look forward to a generous serving of balls in the set.

6. Street Food Circus

If you’re in the mood for savoury nosh, Street Food Circus will be delighting visitors with their cup ramen. But these aren’t just any off-the-shelf noodles. You can look forward to filling concoctions like the Cheesy Chicken Karaage Circus Ramen and Crispy Soft-shell Chilli Crab Circus Ramen.

Eat visually appetising desserts at Marina Square

Christmas is just around the corner and Marina Square is giving you an appetiser of the merriment that awaits with their Whimsical Food Fair. From 22nd to 25th November 2018, simply head to their Central Atrium for popping treats and fun activities for the whole fam’.
